To say that I've listened to this guys work a lot is an understatement.
His album ' The self evident truth of an intuitive mind' was such a find for me back in 1995. It immediately blew me away. I never thought drum and bass could be so experimental and yet such a rewarding listen. I've never heard anything that's come close to the genius of some of his works. Here's a couple of tracks from the album. I suggest listening to 'Amber' 2 minutes in, that's when the track really kicks in...
Here's another track from the album called Octogon....
T Power (aka Marc Royal) produced some phenomenal stuff around that time bofore achieving mainstream success with the album 'Set it off' in 2002 in collaboration with Shy FX. Their single 'Shake ur body' reached number seven in the UK singles chart.
I'm pleased to hear that with Adastra Recordings TPower is coming home. And he's working on a new album titled 'MUSiC4LiF3'.
Here's what Marc says about the new album -
"For the fans who have patiently waited for a follow-up album to either one of these TPower classics (The self evident truth of an intuitive mind and Waveforms), it likely won't happen. That's the bad news. The good news is that a new TPower album is now in the works. MUSiC4LiF3 has two main intentions: to remind fans as to why they waited in the first place and to reassure them that their wait was well worthwhile."
