Pilote - Shapeshifter Blues and Monoytoro forthcoming

Pilote aka Stuart Cullen has always charmed us with his music. He has ventured into many different sonic furrows over the years but always seems to have the knack of creating music full of emotion.

Pilote has a new single on its way (release date February 13th). It's called Shapeshifter Blues and features remixes by Nightdrive, Yellowhead and Analog Imposter. Each remix gives a new slant on the original and are right up our street.

Pilote paves a unique path in blending organic with electronic. The original soothes with a clever guitar riff, laid back beats and whistling before deeply satisfying electronic manipulation give it an extra dimension. Some may call it folktronica, all i know is this.... it hits the spot!

Ghostek - Easy Changes EP on the Shipwrec label
